Dear Beauty Queen,
How do I pick the right foundation for my face. All the ones I get sometimes are two shades darker than my actual skin color. Dear Multi-color, As the name implies, your foundation is the basis for the rest of your makeup. To make sure that it acts as a blank canvas, choose a foundation that identically matches your skin tone. Try multiple shades of foundation on your face (rather than your hand or your neck), and stick with the color that matches your skin tone without blending.

Okay, I want to share a little tip with you. I've been doing this at home for about a year and a half now, and it seems to work pretty good. But all skin is different so it may or may not help EVERYONE. So first of your gonna need at least a tablespoon of fresh and unflavored yogurt- please make sure that it is unflavored - and a teaspoon of lemon juice. What your going to end up doing is mixing the yogurt and lemon juice thoroughly. Once your done it should look a little like paste almost. Apply the paste to your face and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water. I know people with busy lives are like "What if I don't have the time?" Well you can do this either in the morning before taking a bath/shower, or in the night before going to bed. Why This Works Yogurt and lemon both moisturize the skin and help remove blemishes. Lemon also contains vitamin C that protects the skin from UV damage. Yogurt improves the overall skin texture and even makes skin brighter. Adult and Teen acne is the worst, but theres a way no one needs to know you have it. After you've applied an acne-fighting treatment (I personally use a homemade remedy) , use the reliable three-step process—foundation, concealer, powder—and no one will be the wiser.
